Privacy Policy

Effective from 06.11.2026.

This privacy policy explains how the FunTime kids' playroom and the website detki.ee process personal data. We follow the EU General Data Protection Regulation 2016/679 (GDPR) and the Estonian Personal Data Protection Act.

2. What data we process and why

Booking form. Name of the parent or contact person, the child's name, phone number, e-mail address (if provided), preferred date and time, purpose of the visit and any description you add. We use this data to receive, confirm or change your booking and to communicate with you about it. Legal basis: steps necessary to enter into a contract and performance of the contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).

Contact form, e-mails and phone calls. Name, contact details and the content of your message — to answer your question. Legal basis: pre-contractual steps or our legitimate interest in replying to your enquiry (Art. 6(1)(b) and (f) GDPR).

Newsletter. E-mail address — to send news and offers if you have subscribed to the newsletter. Legal basis: your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). You can withdraw your consent at any time by writing to info@detki.ee.

Technical data. When you send a form, your IP address and the address of the page the form was sent from are stored together with the message; the hosting server keeps standard request logs. We use this data to keep the website secure and to prevent spam and abuse. Legal basis: our legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

Photos and videos. Photos and videos may be taken in the playroom and at events, and they may be published on the FunTime website and social media (see the terms of use). We publish recognisable photos or videos of a child with the parent's consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). If you do not want your child to be photographed or their image to be published, please tell our staff on site or write to info@detki.ee — we will then remove the material from our channels.

3. Children's data

We receive the child's name and booking-related data from the parent or another person responsible for the child. We ask that children under 13 do not send us data through the website forms themselves.

4. Cookies and third-party services

The website uses only the cookies necessary for it to work: a session cookie (OCSESSID), cookies for the selected language and currency, and remembering in your browser that you have closed the notice. We do not use analytics or advertising cookies.

The website uses services of Google Ireland Limited: reCAPTCHA (protecting forms against spam), Google Calendar (availability calendar) and Google Maps (map on the contact page). When these services are used, Google receives your IP address and technical browser data and may set its own cookies. More information: Google Privacy Policy.

On our Facebook and Instagram pages, the terms of Meta Platforms Ireland Limited also apply.

5. Recipients of data

Personal data is accessible to FunTime staff who need it for their work. We also use processors who process data only on our instructions: Hostinger International Ltd (web hosting and e-mail, European Union), Kompik Eesti OÜ (website development and maintenance) and Google Ireland Limited (the services listed above). We do not sell personal data or share it with third parties for marketing. We disclose data to public authorities only where required by law.

6. Transfers outside the European Economic Area

Google may also process data in the United States. In that case the transfer is based on the EU–U.S. Data Privacy Framework or on standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission.

7. Retention periods

  • bookings and enquiries — up to 12 months after the visit or the last communication;
  • accounting documents (e.g. invoices) — 7 years under the Accounting Act;
  • newsletter data — until consent is withdrawn;
  • photos and videos — until consent is withdrawn;
  • technical logs — for a short period, for security purposes.

8. Your rights

You have the right to obtain information about the processing of your data and access it, to have inaccurate data corrected, to request erasure of your data or restriction of its processing, to object to processing based on legitimate interest, to receive your data in a machine-readable format, and to withdraw your consent at any time. You can send a request to info@detki.ee; we will reply within one month.

If you believe we are violating your rights, you can contact the Estonian Data Protection Inspectorate (Andmekaitse Inspektsioon, Tatari 39, 10134 Tallinn, info@aki.ee, www.aki.ee) or a court.

9. Security

The website uses an encrypted connection (HTTPS). Access to data is restricted and protected by passwords.

10. Changes

We may update this privacy policy. The current version is always available on this page, and its effective date is shown at the top.
